AC Milan is quite active in the summer transfer market this year. The Rossoneri have brought in a lot of new players to make a good squad depth this season.
AC Milan did not have abundant spending funds in the summer transfer market this year. Even so, Stefano Pioli’s team can still strengthen their squad.
One of the players recruited by AC Milan is Mike Maignan. The French goalkeeper was bought from Lille for 13 million euros.
However, not only buying players in the transfer market this summer, AC Milan also brought in players on loan. Who are they?

AC Milan has again borrowed Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea this season. The Rossoneri this time borrowed Bakayoko for two years until 2023.
This is the second time Milan have borrowed Bakayoko from Chelsea. Previously, the Rossoneri had borrowed Bakayoko in the 2018/2019 season.
Bakayoko was able to appear regularly at the San Siro. He recorded 42 appearances in all competitions scoring one goal.

Brahim Diaz has returned to strengthen AC Milan this season. He signed from Real Madrid on loan for two seasons.
Diaz will be at the San Siro until 30 June 2023. However, Milan have the option to make Diaz permanent for 22 million euros.
Milan previously borrowed Diaz in the 2020/2021 season. The 21 – year – old player appeared in 39 matches with a contribution of seven goals and four assists .
To strengthen the fullback sector , AC Milan brought in Alessandro Florenzi. The Rossoneri signed the player from AS Roma on loan for one season.
AC Milan paid one million euros for Florenzi’s loan fee for one season. The Rossoneri will have to add 4 million euros if they want to make Florenzi permanent.
Florenzi spent last season on loan at PSG. The 31-year-old was not included in Jose Mourinho’s plans at the Olimpico.
Another player brought in by AC Milan this summer is Pietro Pellegri. The 20-year-old striker was recruited from AS Monaco on loan for the next one season.
Pellegri is one of the youngest players ever to make his Serie A debut. He featured for Genoa at the age of 15 years and 280 days on 22 December 2016.
Pellegri was then brought in by AS Monaco from Genoa in 2018 for 25 million euros. During his time in France, he made 23 appearances in all competitions and scored two goals.
Junior Messias moved to AC Milan ahead of the close of the summer transfer window. He was brought in on a season-long loan from Crotone.
The Rossoneri had to spend 2.6 million euros to borrow the Brazilian. However, they have the option to make the player permanent.
Messias still has a contract with Crotone until 30 June 2024. The 30-year-old recorded nine goals and five assists in 37 appearances for the club last season.
