4 Player Names Linked with Man United, Who Will Join?

Sports

Manchester United are one of three teams that have not signed a new player in the transfer market this summer. Of course the MU situation makes fans worried.

Imagine, this summer should be a crucial moment to develop the Red Devils squad. Erik ten Hag has arrived as the new manager and he is said to be overhauling the squad.

Evidently, so far Ten Hag has released a number of players who were not included in the plan. So, it is clear that the departure of these players must be replaced by the purchase of new players.

The problem is, MU does not seem willing to repeat the same mistakes as the last few years. Now they are more careful in buying players, they don’t want to get caught up in exorbitant prices.

Malacia and De Jong

Since the arrival of Ten Hag, MU immediately tried to chase Frenkie de Jong. Ten Hag asked the club to prioritize the recruitment of the Dutch midfielder.  https://open.firstory.me/user/m1n10nfull United are also said to have reached an agreement for Tyrell Malacia, the Dutch full-back. These two names, De Jong and Malacia, were the two players Ten Hag had asked for.

“We all know Man United’s target list and Erik ten Hag is working on that list. Tyrell Malacia is close to joining and they are still discussing with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong,” said Sky Sports analyst Kavek Solhekol.

Lisandro and Eriksen

The next two names are Lisandro Martinez, defender of Ajax Amsterdam, and Christian Eriksen, midfielder of Denmark. Recently, it was reported that Eriksen had reached a verbal agreement to join Manchester United.

“This week we will know more about the situation of Lisandro Martinez, whether he chooses Man United or Arsenal,” continued Solhekol.

“About Eriksen, the question is whether he stays at Brentford or will he choose United. We believe he will sign a three-year contract [at United] and he will be a good signing.”

“MU need to strengthen the midfield. They need creativity and Eriksen is the right player,” he concluded.
