Adapted from the legendary novel Agatha Christie, the film Death on The Nile is directed by Kenneth Branagh who also returns as the iconic detective Hercule Poirot.

Apart from the much awaited film, Death on The Nile holds another interesting fact.

Hercule Poirot This fictional Belgian detective first made his debut in The Mysterious Affairs at Styles by Agatha Christie in 1920.

Since then it has appeared in 33 novels and 55 short stories. Reportedly, due to having so much time during quarantine, Branagh spent most of his time supervising the editing of the film as well as working on it himself.
