Chelsea must prepare to lose one of their best midfielders, Jorginho . The player’s agent, Joao Santos, says Jorginho is likely to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires in 2023.
Santos also blatantly opened up Jorginho’s goal . The Brazilian is claimed to be dreaming of returning to Serie A.
Chelsea paid an initial £50 million to sign Jorhinho from Napoli in the summer of 2018, tying him to a five-year contract.
The deal would have expired less than two years ago. Santos says Jorginho is likely to leave Chelsea.
Of course, it would be a dream for him to return to Italy, hopefully after winning the World Cup,” Santos told Radio Bianconera, as quoted by Goal International , Tuesday (7/9/2021).

Ever Approached by Juventus
Inter Milan and AS Roma have reportedly been interested in signing Jorginho. However, Juventus have been touted as the next most likely destination if he leaves Chelsea.
Santos said the Bianconeri had tried to approach the Italian when Maurizio Sarri was in charge of the club in 2019/2020. The two worked together at Napoli and a year at Chelsea. However, the transfer failed to materialize.
“In the past, when Sarri was the coach, there was the possibility of Jorginho moving to Juventus. The director of Juventus had approached, it was possible,” said Santos.
Jorginho’s Best Season
Last season was arguably Jorginho’s best moment at Chelsea. He played a key role in their journey to Champions League glory and a top four finish in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old then helped the Italian national team win Euro 2020. He is predicted to be one of the challengers for this year’s Ballon d’Or.
“I think Jorginho has a good chance of winning the Ballon d’Or, because we usually think of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, but nobody won as much as Jorginho this year,” Santos said.
